By accessing or using Linguanta (“the Service”), operated by Linguanta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Linguanta is a free educational tool for looking up English words, saving them and reviewing them with spaced-repetition flashcards.
3. No account required
The Service requires no registration. Your saved words and progress are stored locally in your browser and are your responsibility — clearing your browser data will remove them.
4. Content disclaimer — important
Word definitions, examples, pronunciations and synonyms are provided by third-party public dictionary sources (including dictionaryapi.dev and Wiktionary) and are shown for convenience. We do not author, verify or guarantee this content. It may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate and must not be relied upon as an authoritative linguistic, legal, medical or professional source. Your use of dictionary content is at your own discretion and risk.
5. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or learning outcomes, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as liability for intent or gross negligence).
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes.
